Activities and Classes
Stay fit through the movement of dancing! Choose from Line Dancing, Round Dancing, or Square Dancing.
Looking for variety? Try our Functional Fitness class incorporating balance, flexibility, low impact cardio, strength training and stretching. Energetic fitness instructor Janelle will encourage and motivate you to help reach your fitness goals.
Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. This class are taught with lower-impact moves and using a chair rather than on the ground. Drum sticks and chair provided.
Focus on improving flexibility, balance, strength, posture and breathing. Try Balance & Chair Yoga or Slow & Mindful Yoga classes that are gentle on the body, and promote relaxation and stress reduction.
The Hopkins Activity Center is a contracted facility with American Health Fitness (Silver & Fit®), Healthway’s Fitness (SilverSneakers®) and UnitedHealthcare (RenewActive®) to offer fitness opportunities for eligible health plan members. Contact the office for more information.
