We think of our homes as shelters from everyday conflict. This makes it that much more difficult when conflict with neighbors creeps into our homes, and that much more important to find ways to get along with neighbors.
Loud, unpleasant, raucous, or prolonged noise is a public nuisance. Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., the City Code prohibits gatherings of people from which noise emanates of sufficient volume that it disturbs the peace and quiet, and can easily be heard at a distance of 50 feet from any residential dwelling.
