Join the City of Hopkins for a volunteer event to remove garlic mustard and learn how to manage it on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Shady Oak Pond, 151 Shady Oak Road N.
Garlic mustard is an invasive species that outcompetes native plants and takes over forest floors, preventing other plant regeneration. This invasive species has become an increasingly large problem in the Midwest and management is key for the health of our city’s environment.
