[ARCHIVED] Snow Emergency Declared for March 14 Beginning at 11 p.m.

The City of Hopkins has declared a snow emergency effective beginning at 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 through 2 p.m. on Monday, March 16. 

Vehicle tagging and towing at begins at 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. Residents must remove vehicles from the restricted locations (City streets and parking lots, right-of-ways) to avoid being towed, until the streets are plowed curb to curb.

Snow emergency parking locations are available in both Central Hopkins and South Hopkins:

  • Maetzold Field parking lot with access from 1st Street N
  • Municipal Lot 300 just north of the Downtown Park on 9th Avenue S
  • Municipal Lot 750 just south of First Street N on 9th Avenue N
  • East of 9th Avenue S and north of Westbrooke Way between 9th Avenue S and Nine Mile Creek
  • Far east end of 8th Street S near Valley Park
