West Metro Home Remodeling Fair is February 23

Looking for ideas or tips for your next home remodeling project? Stop by the West Metro Home Remodeling Fair between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, at the Eisenhower Community Center. The fair features a wide variety of exhibitors with products and services related to home improvement, including remodeling contractors, architects, landscapers, financial lenders and more. Learn more on the West Metro Home Remodeling Fair website. 


Turf Season at the Pavilion Begins March 1

Turf season at the Hopkins Pavilion begins March 1 and runs through May 11. The Pavilion turf is a boarded indoor arena available to rent for sports and events including soccer, lacrosse, rugby, football, baseball and birthday parties. Turf Tots, a drop-in program for kids to run and play with provided toys and equipment, begins March 3. Find more information about turf season at the Pavilion.


Summer Recreation Registration Begins March 4

Summer recreation program registration begins on Tuesday, March 4, for general recreation, Thursday, March 6, for senior programs and Tuesday, March 18, for ice skating. Visit minnetonkamn.gov/register to browse program options and choose from an array of activities including summer camps, swimming lessons, skating lessons, fitness classes, arts and crafts, athletic leagues and senior programs. Register online at minnetonkamn.gov/register or call between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Upcoming Youth Advisory Board Events

  • Youth ages 18 and under are invited to join the Youth Advisory Board for Free Rom-Com Trivia on Tuesday, February 25, from 7 to 8 p.m., at the Depot Coffee House. 
  • The Youth Advisory Board will be hosting their second Casino Night on Saturday, March 15, from 6 to 10 p.m., at the Depot Coffee House. Join us for a night filled with games and prizes. This event is free of charge and for those 18 and under. 

Applications Open for Public Art Advisory Committee

The Hopkins Public Art Advisory Committee is comprised of residents, business owners, and City staff who are practicing artists, art professionals, and those interested in public art. The committee advises the City on public art programs and projects, such as the Hopkins mural program. Individuals who live or work in Hopkins who have an interest in art, are practicing artists, and business owners enthusiastic about public art are encouraged to apply. Learn more and apply online.
