Free Workshop: Braver Angels

Join the Hopkins Activity Center for a free workshop on Wednesday August 7 from 2:30-4pm for a free workshop on navigating political differences.

Let’s face it, talking about politics has gotten tougher than ever.

Conversations with family and friends have gone sideways…with us collectively losing the ability to communicate with people with whom we disagree. As we separate into groups that increasingly struggle to relate to, or interact with people of differing opinions, we lose trust in our institutions, eroding the ability to govern ourselves and lowering the caliber of citizenship. Join us as we are led in a group discussion where we will learn from each other how to hear, accept, engage and get along. Discover where political polarization is coming from and what each of us can do to depolarize ourselves, our personal relationships, communities and our country.
