Local businesses are critical to the economy, vitality and hometown feel of Hopkins. COVID-19 has created a lot of uncertainty and challenges for many business owners and employees. 

The City has put together a list of information and links to resources to help you navigate through this unprecedented time.

Official City Actions

On March 16, Mayor Jason Gadd issued a local emergency declaration. This declaration invokes the City’s emergency operations/management plans and pandemic response plans related to the coronavirus outbreak. Fire Chief Dale Specken and City Manager Mike Mornson are leading this emergency effort, in coordination with the City’s senior staff. The Hopkins City Council will continue to receive briefings as necessary.
